This is an amazing article I came upon looking for baby names for a film project I'm working on. That babies as young as seven months can communicate via sign language is extroidinary to me. Perhaps words are not as important as we writers would like to make out!

What is your baby going to tell you?

Well, really what's key is the IDEA.
I tell my students at www.wordsmythe.ca that GOOD screenplays work because they possess a single clear idea (central premise) that the writers express clearly and dramatically. (Monsters Inc - laughter is more powerful than scream!)
And yes, I taught my baby sign language too - and it was mind blowing to communicate with her so young!
